The paperwork's doing your head in.
Every builder running commercial work knows this rhythm. PC emails, construction SWMS needed yesterday, nothing you've got fits. Here's what you're probably dealing with.
Tier 1 wants the SWMS pack Friday 4pm
PC won't let your crew on site without it. You've got framing to chase and subbies to wrangle — not a weekend of paperwork.
Generic templates that don't know what HRCW means
Downloaded a 'general' SWMS, filled in your name. PC's safety officer wants HRCW-specific controls for heights, demolition and silica.
AI SWMS that misses the high-risk work
Paid $47 for unlimited AI SWMS. Output reads like a uni assignment. Doesn't mention edge protection or silica respiratory controls once.
Quoted $1,200+ and a two-week wait
Consultant wants $1,200-plus and a fortnight. You've got 72 hours and a build to keep moving.
A full kit of builder paperwork.
Every document a small Aussie build business needs to pass commercial site induction, win tenders, and pass audits — built against Schedule 3 of the Model WHS Regs and tuned to construction work.
Construction SWMS
Site-specific Safe Work Method Statement covering your build activities. Hazards, controls, PPE, sign-off. Tuned to general construction work — heights, demolition, silica, plant — not a generic template.
WHS Policy
Your company WHS policy statement. ABN, director sign-off, builder licence numbers, commitment clauses, review cycle. Ready for the site shed wall.
Risk Register (construction)
Construction hazards with likelihood × consequence scoring — heights, mobile plant, silica, manual handling, electrical, traffic. Residual risk after controls. Editable, formatted for audit.
Safe Operating Procedures
SOPs for scaffold, EWPs, mobile plant, power tools, demolition tools, silica-generating cutting — laminate-ready PDFs for the site shed.
Subcontractor Management Plan
How you onboard, induct and manage subbies on site. Insurance verification, SWMS sign-off, induction record-keeping. Built for principal-contractor and head-builder workflows.
Worker Induction Form
Onboarding checklist for new crew and subbies. White card, trade tickets, height/EWP/scaffold tickets where relevant, PPE sizing, WHS acknowledgement.
Here's what a builder SWMS looks like.
Every pack is scoped to your business and your activities. The numbers below are illustrative — yours will reflect what's actually on your builds.
Example only · Hazard and control counts vary by trade scope and activity.
Why GetSorted.
No subscriptions, no AI slop, no consultant hourly rates. Three things you actually get.
Fixed price
$299 to $499 for the standard packs. The price you see is what you pay — no setup fee, no monthly anything, no 'revision pack' upsell.
Human-reviewed
Every pack is read, edited and signed off by someone who understands the Model WHS Regs. AI speeds up the boring parts; humans own the output.
Editable forever
You get the Word and Excel files, not just locked PDFs. Update them whenever you change crews, add activities, or hit reg changes.
What we cover for builders.
Not every build needs the same paperwork. Use this table to see which documents support each type of construction work. Items marked with * will require a quick scope check by phone so we can match the docs to your job properly.

Builder questions we get a lot.
Do builders need a SWMS?
Yes, for any high-risk construction work (HRCW) under Schedule 3 of the Model WHS Regs. Most builds carry several HRCW activities — heights ≥ 2 m, demolition, mobile plant, work near energised services, excavation > 1.5 m, structural alterations. Most PCs require SWMS for everything on site regardless.
Can you build SWMS for working at heights, demolition and silica work?
Yes. Our standard builder pack covers heights with edge protection / harness / scaffold controls, non-structural and standard residential demolition, silica-generating cutting with respiratory protection and on-tool extraction. Structural demolition, asbestos work, and prolonged silica-heavy cutting may need separate scoping — contact us before ordering for non-standard work.
Do you cover residential and commercial builds?
Both. Same pack format, construction-specific controls. Commercial PC paperwork demands tend to be heavier — your SWMS will be tuned to commercial site requirements where ordered for commercial scope. Tier 1 / Tier 2 sub-engagements often need additional sub-plan and induction documentation; that's covered in Full Pack and Custom.
Will the documents include my ABN, builder licence (QBCC / NSW Fair Trading / VBA / etc.) and logo?
Yes. ABN, builder licence number, company name and logo populated through every doc. Director sign-off line included. State-specific licence formatting handled (QBCC, NSW, VBA, BCS, OBC, BSA, NTBPB).
What about subcontractor management — do the docs cover that?
Yes — Subcontractor Management Plan is included in the Full Pack. Covers insurance verification, SWMS sign-off, induction record-keeping, and the workflow for getting subbies on site. Built for principal-contractor and head-builder use cases.
What happens if the principal contractor rejects the SWMS?
We rewrite it for free until it's accepted, as long as the changes sit within the original scope. Built against Schedule 3 — the same thing PCs audit against — so rejections are rare.
Can I edit the documents after delivery?
Yes. Word and Excel files. Not locked PDFs, not a walled-garden portal. Update when you change crews, add activities, win a bigger build, or hit reg changes.
How is this different from the $47/month AI SWMS tools?
A human writes and reviews every pack. AI speeds up the boring parts (first-draft hazard lists, formatting); humans own the output. That's exactly why the unlimited-AI tools keep getting rejected — no human in the loop, and the SWMS reads like it.
Still writing construction SWMS at 10pm? Nah.
Order a builder pack today. Docs in your inbox within 48–72 hours. Back on site where you belong — not wrestling with sub-plan paperwork all evening.
